The Best Wedding Thank You Speech Guide

My wedding thank you speech was well received by everyone. Thanks to the tips and tricks I found online. It is amazing what a Google search can come up with. I just stumbled into websites upon websites with tips and tricks about wedding thank you speeches. I want to share with you the things I learned so that you won’t have to experience the things that I did.

Before I got hold of the wonderful tips and tricks about wedding thank you speeches, I was concerned that I won’t be able to write and deliver a speech at my own wedding. I don’t want to disappoint my bride and the people that will attend our wedding. This really stressed me out to no end that I couldn’t even sleep just thinking of how to write and deliver my speech.

Good thing I have a bit of search engine skill. I found a few tips and tricks that helped me greatly. Allow me to share with you some of the tips I learned.

First, calm down and relax. You don’t have to rush writing the speech if you have a day or two to make it. Just chill out and allow yourself to think about what you are going to write.

After you are clam and relaxed enough, think of a theme. Think of a single theme for your wedding thank you speech and just stick with this single thought. This will allow you to memorize your lines better, and be coherent and precise to your audience.

When you have a single theme, think of what you want to impart to your audience. Do you want to thank them by making them laugh or by inspiring them? Either way you have to make a point to your speech regardless of whether you want them to feel inspired or be enterntained.

As regards the delivery of your speech, you really need to practice it as much as you can. Repetition is the mother of study, as they say. In your case, repitition is about reciting your lines flawlessly.

If you can, try to rehearse your delivery with someone who can listen to you. Try to gauge his or her reaction, and try to get an honest opinion out of them. This is the best opportunity for you to improve or edit your speech.

When you don’t have anyone to listen to you, then record your speech and play it back so you can hear your diction and tone. This way you can improve upon your speech as much as a single person can.

I followed all these tips and I made a pretty good wedding thank you speech I was so happy and proud of myself when I delivered my speech. If you want to get professional tips and guides for your speech writing, then visit http://www.weddingspeechesforall.com

Grooms Wedding Speech – Amazing Tips

It was the wedding of my brother and he assigned me to write a groom’s wedding speech. At first I did not know what to do or how to write any groom’s wedding speech because the last time I wrote was a term paper in  high school. I searched around and asked around. I scoured the net for information on how to write a speech and I found some amazing tips.

I was just about to give up on my speech, but I thought that I don’t want to fail my brother. This is his first and last marriage and I want him to have the best groom wedding speech. Since I am not a professional writer, I needed some guide to help me write the speech. I found a lot of tips and tricks online, here’s what I learned that helped me write my brother’s wedding speech.

Preliminary

1. Write a first draft. The first draft is not the finished product. Just free write whatever thought you have and worry about grammar later.

2. Use simple words and write short sentences. This way you, your speech can be memorized easily. This is also important to help your audience understand your speech better.

3. Edit your drafts. This is very important because like I said, the first draft is not the finished product. If you are not confident enough of your grammar skills, then have someone edit your work.

Writing the speech

1. Choose a single speech and stick with it. You can write out several themes or thesis statements during the draft process, but the final product should only have a single cohesive theme that will glue your speech together.

2. Ask yourself what is it that you want to impart to your audience. Have a point to your speech. Make sure to end the speech with something humorous or inspirational to impart to your audience.

3. Know your audience. Since this is a wedding, you can expect people from every ages to attend the event. You need to use simple words and conversational, casual English that everyone can understand. It is also good to keep the speech clean and free from double meanings. Be as plain and succinct as you possibly can.

4. Show, don’t tell. Use strong words, metaphors, and colorful imagery to your speech. This will add a little pizazz to your speech, as well as making it easy for the audience to follow.

I hope that the tips above helped you write your speech. I followed the tips above an I made a great groom’s wedding speech for my brother. I was so proud of him as he delivered my speech. The audience was in awe and was left very inspired at the speech I wrote. If you need more help for tips and guides to wedding speech writing, just visit http://www.weddingspeechesforall.com

Cost Cutting Advice for Your Wedding

However, it is no surprise that we encounter great difficulty when planning our ideal wedding given the fact that the average UK wedding costs around £11,000, not mentioning the extra 15% you should accommodate for, similarly weddings across the pond average in at a whopping $30,000.

The main fact is that weddings cost, they cost big bucks, and if you want your Sylvia Weinstock cake and your Vera Wang dress then you better expect to pay for it. If, however, you are willing to make several sacrifices and a few compromises then I guarantee you will have an equally as good a wedding as you had always dreamed of for a more affordable price.

The biggest expenditures of a wedding has to be the reception; food, location and music. The biggest suggestions that I could make regarding these factors has to be, firstly consider making your own wedding cake. You don’t necessarily have to bake the sponge and ice it yourself, you could buy the sponge from a local baker, ice it using store bought icing and then decorate with flowers; get inspiration from the many wedding cake designers online, these cakes look very impressive but with a little intuition you too can create a masterpiece. If you are confident enough to ice the cake and its decorations yourself then check out the many YouTube videos that give detailed instructions on how you can create iced roses and the like.

Food for your wedding is in an important part of the entire day, and I would not suggest scrimping on it. Instead I would cut the number of people coming to the full ceremony and meal part of it, and invite everyone else afterwards. Save all the speech making and cake cutting until everyone else arrives so no one misses out on terrible best man speeches. No one said weddings had to be in a particular order so feel free to juggle around with the day’s proceedings.

For your reception, if you are looking for a band try and source a local unheard of band that will still play all your favourite songs. If you want a traditional band it is also worth looking into your local University to see if they have any pipe bands that may offer their services for cheaper. The biggest risk with this, however, is that they will not be good enough so ensure you hear them perform live before booking anything. As the reception wears on you may want a DJ, save money by using an MP3 player and renting the disco equipment instead. The key to this is to ensure you have your IPod fully stocked with all your favourite songs, compile a huge playlist that will last the entire reception and give someone, preferably a light drinker, the responsibility of keeping an eye on it.

Decorations are another great expense and again, I would suggest going to a professional for the supply of flowers. For centre pieces just go a little lighter than you would prefer, and add your own personal touches such as candles or sequins, be creative scour the internet for inspiration.

Admittedly doing all these things can take time, and if time is money to you then you may prefer to still go ahead with the bought wedding cake or designer flowers, but for those of you happy couple experiencing the tough side of the credit crunch and looking to save a few pennies then I would suggest at least looking into the recommendations I have made above, small sacrifices can save a lot of money.

Men’s Wedding Bands, Quality and Tradition

The focal point of any wedding has always been the bride. A main portion of that relates to the engagement and wedding ring that the bride will be wearing on that special day. No one ever asks the groom to see his new wedding band because it’s simply been an established tradition for the men’s wedding band to be somewhat cost effective and plain.

Those days are in the past. With the popularity of titanium, palladium and tungsten carbide rings, the world of men’s wedding bands has reached a whole new level of elegance. As men become more image conscious the desire to have jewelry that stands out has driven the market to new levels of excellence.

Designers like Edward Mirell have taken the helm and have helped to design bands that will be as inspiring as the sparkle in a bride’s eye. Designers like J.R. Yates have maintained an elegant contemporary look that maintains a level of manliness that has inspired to go beyond the boring styles of their father’s and into a new generation of exciting design.

With cost in mind these new designs have been able to maintain the equivalent cost of their predecessors and still cost a small fraction of what the brides ring will cost. This allows individuals looking for the perfect wedding band the opportunity to find a cost effective wedding band that suits their taste while keeping extra money for wedding favors. Along with design changes the color choices have reached a whole new level as well. Titanium can come in multiple colors including black. When used in conjunction with silver titanium it can make for a very stunning effect. Rope bands and diamond set bands have also become very popular amongst new grooms and even celebrities like the Tuttles have put their name behind this newly renovated industry.

With all of the new choices for men’s wedding bands it easy to see why men have willingly jumped to these new designs as they present a great value and they look stunning. With a titanium wedding band you’ll share the spotlight with your bride and people will be asking you to see your new ring.

It won’t be long that every man looking for a wedding ring will be sporting a new titanium or tungsten band that has been designed for a new generation of man that is image conscious as well as price conscious. Titanium weddings bands stand as an excellent quality product for a new generation.

Kimberly Green has had the pleasure of shopping for and buying men’s wedding bands. She now strives to help others find the best quality and craftsmanship rings for their big day.

Create Your Own Wedding Dress

There are so many dresses available in stores and in online boutiques, but when a bride needs to make her choice; she realizes that none of them are perfect. She may like the shape of one dress, fabric of another and embroidery from a third. Or, she may find the dream dress. However, the price of the dress breaks the budget. Let us not also forget that the selection of wedding dresses available in plus-sizes or petite sizes is narrow.

When wedding dress supply is limited in variety, creating your own wedding dress is a great option. Most brides always have a picture in their mind of the dream bridal gown. There are so many ideas and places to be inspired – fresh trends, fashion shows, designer news, glamour magazines, vintage and antique images, etc. Get inspired! Create your own wedding dress and nothing will limit your options anymore!

Chiffon and lace are the most reasonable fabrics for the DIY (do it yourself) project. Chiffon allows for creativity: ruffles and floating trains, scooped neck designs, multilayer, Swarovski crystals, embroidery on the bodice and on the sleeves. Soft silk chiffon is good on the body and is comfortable for wearing. The Chiffon wedding dress is the best for brides, as it is very simple, yet has great elegance.

When stitching a chiffon bridal gown, many manufactures put a layer of tissue paper in between the two pieces of chiffon being sewn together. Tissue paper is used to allow the chiffon to remain intact and stay in place. After sewing, the tissue paper can be carefully ripped out. The general rule when working with chiffon material is that the work should be done slowly and steadily, and not to run it through a sewing machine too quickly so that it bunches and gathers.

Of course nothing restricts a bride`s castle in the sky, when she creates the design of her wedding dress. However, there are several basic rules she should follow, which may help to shape the dress better.

1. The A-line silhouette elongates and slims the figure.

2. Ball gowns are perfect on strapping brides or better should be worn with high heels and a small platform (for extra convenience).

3. Column dresses makes brides with wide shoulders and backs more feminine.

Restoration of an existing wedding dress is also interesting idea for the creative bride. If a vintage or antique dress is available and has really interesting and expensive fabric and elements, it is a prospect for dress restoration. The bride can do it by herself. However, it is better to send the dress to professionals. Restoration of antique dresses requires special skills and supplies. During restoration, old fabric gets supported by a layer of new thin and strong silk, which is laid under the original fabric. Sometimes use of silk to line a weak antique structure is the only way to save the unique cloth.

Some people have extraordinary taste. They may not like traditional weddings. Such brides may be great performers and want to have a show instead of a wedding. Halloween-style weddings or weddings like Cirque du Soleil will need special dresses. In that case, brides can create their own unique dresses, gowns which never will be repeated.

Seashell Wedding Favors

Many of us are choosing the beach as a venue for our weddings, be it at home or abroad. So when it comes to wedding favors, seashells are a natural choice. To many, the sea evokes a sense of romance & beauty, whilst the creatures of the sea are regarded as mystical & exciting. So it is little wonder that the sea has inspired many varieties of wedding favor, from the nautical to the tropical, with seashells being the most loved choice.

If you would like to give seashells as wedding favors here are a few ideas for you to consider:

· Use large seashells as vessels for candles or look for shell shaped candles in box sets.

· Salt & pepper sellers in the shape of seashells are both functional & whimsical. Your guests will always remember your wedding each time they use them.

· Give your guests silver plated keepsake boxes in the shape of shells or with a shell motif. As an extra touch place a white chocolate ‘pearl’ inside!

· For favors with duplicity, look for shell shaped place card holders made in pewter. They not only add elegance to your tables, but your guests can take them home afterwards & use them as paperweights.

· If you are the creative type why not make your own wedding favors with a seaside theme? Purchase some glassine envelopes & place inside some pretty shells which you have collected from the beach. Seal the envelopes with glue & attach a ribbon bow & thank you tag (shell shaped of course!).

Wedding favors for a beach wedding have a beauty all of their own & can be as fun & whimsical as you wish. With a beach wedding or theme, it is all about finding favors that are fitting symbols of the sea & that will inspire your guests to remember the beauty & elegance of your wedding day.

Golden Wedding Speeches – Awesome Guide – 3 Top Tips

You too can make golden wedding speeches if you follow my tips and tricks on writing. I never thought that it would be this easy to make a wedding speech. I just followed some guides from the Internet and I was on my way to writing a very inspirational speech that everyone, especially the newlyweds, can be proud of. It is a great feeling to impart a good message that will leave a profound impact on everyone.

Before I wrote my speech, I was stressing out that I cannot make a golden wedding speech. I was so anxious about this that I was not able to sleep weeks before the wedding. It was my brother’s wedding, and I was tasked to deliver a speech and a toast to help liven up the wedding. I was stressed because I have no real experience writing. In fact, the last time I wrote was during college where I was doing some term papers.

Thank goodness for the Internet I found some guides and tricks on how to write golden wedding speeches. This is the first thing I did when I was calm enough to seek help from the Internet. I scoured on a good search engine and I found some answers on how to write a better speech. Allow me to share some of the knowledge I leaned.

First, you have to assess your audience. Since you already know that this is going to be a wedding, then you already know to keep the language light and conversational. Don’t worry about grammar initially since you are just writing the first draft. After you are finished, have someone edit your work.

Second, follow the rule of KISS, or keep it short and simple. As I said before, just use conversational English. Do not use dictionary words because you want to cater to a wide range of audience from children to adults. Use short sentences to be coherent and succinct.

Third, choose a single theme and then stick to it. Just choose one topic and stay with it all throughout the speech. You can tell a lot of anecdotes or jokes, but do not stray from your main topic. This is basically the same as a thesis statement to help you focus your writing.

The theme mentioned above will help you also focus your point as well. You have to end the speech with a point to impart to your audience and to the newlyweds. Your point can either be comical or inspirational, just as long as you gave something valuable to your audience that they can leave feeling good about the matrimony.

I hope the tips above can help you make golden wedding speeches. If you need more guides, tips, and tricks just head on over to http://www.weddingspeechesforall.com/

Unique Beach Wedding Favors

Beach weddings are becoming increasingly popular, both at home & abroad. The sea can provide much inspiration for wedding favors & whilst you can buy ready made beach themed favors, it always a nice idea to make your own.

For some creative, unique & stylish wedding favors, take a look at these ideas:

Starfish

Starfish are a key symbol of the sea & a popular motif for wedding stationery for a beach wedding. Starfish can be bought from seaside gift stores fairly inexpensively. Tie some ribbon to one ‘leg’ of the starfish or around the center & attach a thank you tag.

Your guests can use them as a decorative element at home, perhaps in the bathroom or kitchen.

Pebbles

Find some nice flat round pebbles which are roughly about the same size. I wouldn’t condone taking them directly from the beach, so visit a garden center for a bag of river washed pebbles.

Using a metallic marker pen or other suitable pen write your guests names on one side & a thank you message on the other. These then can double as place markers & wedding favors. Your guests can use them as paperweights or decorative objects at home.

Sea Goody Bags

There are many cosmetic & beauty products on the market which utilize the minerals in sea water & seaweed. Give your guests goody bags containing some of these products.

If your budget is tight buy big bottles & decant into smaller bottles, include mini soaps, sponges & a scented votive candle, for a real sea inspired spa gift bag.

Magnets

Use things from the sea to create fridge magnets. Look for interesting sea shells, small starfish, & pretty pebbles. You will find magnets at craft stores; make sure you buy magnets large enough to hold the thing they are attached to in place. You need to make sure that the things the magnets are attached to are big enough to hide the magnet & have a suitable spot on which to attach the magnet.

Alternatively, visit your beach location (if possible) & take a photograph. Try going at sunset or sunrise for a stunning scene. Alternatively take photographs of items you find on the beach, particularly if you are adept at taking arty shots. These can be used to create fridge magnets by using magnet kits which you will find at craft stores.

Seaside Fun

Give your guests wedding favors which will allow them to have fun at the beach. How about buckets & spades & challenge them to a sand castle building competition? Or roll-up beach mats, beach towels, beach games, beach balls or parasols.

A Cold Treat

Arrange for an ice cream van to call after your wedding breakfast or during the buffet & give each guest a ticket for a free ice cream of their choice.

Alternatively make your own ice lollies with personalized sticks – add your thank you message or a joke; make sure there is somewhere cold enough at your reception venue for you to store them & then get your flower girls &/or page boys to hand them out.

A Dazzling Autumn Wedding Bouquet Can Be Made Out Of Deep Coloured Flowers

Autumn is visually a glorious time of year when you can feast your eyes on the changing colours from green to amber, yellow, red and orange. The temperatures might be dropping and the days getting shorter, but this seems to help intensify those deep shades, as the foliage dies. If you are lucky enough to have a wedding during this picturesque time of year it would be a shame not to take advantage of these beautiful colours and use them to make a beautiful autumn wedding bouquet.
Do not try and use unseasonal flowers for your autumn wedding bouquet, this will give you added expense and effort in trying to get a summery or spring feel to your wedding. The autumn wedding bouquet should incorporate lots of greens and deep browns and flowers that are readily available at this time of year. Trust your imagination and come up with some truly memorable combinations of colours for your autumn wedding bouquet.
The Versatility Of Red Flowers
If there was one flower more popular that any other it would be the red rose, and it is especially favoured in wedding bouquets at all times of the year. This is to do with its romantic connotations and intrinsic beauty. The red rose is perceived as the embodiment of the classic style and can be used in your autumn wedding bouquet; one should remember there are other beautiful red flowers that can add a deep splash of colour; examples of these flowers include mums, asiatic lilies, bird-of-paradise, carnations, asters and red gerbera daisies. Any of these will help to give an inspired look to your autumn wedding bouquet.
Yellow Flowers To Lift The Dark Colours
If you feel that your autumn wedding bouquet is becoming too dark try and offset this by using yellow or golden flowers these will light up the dark colours and compliment them at the same time. Yellow is seen as a happy colour, especially with its association with the sun and warmth. Some good examples of flowers to use in your autumn wedding bouquets are orchids, crocuses, sunflowers, hollyhocks, daisies and yellow roses.
Remember Orange Hues To Increase The Spectrum of Colour
Orange lies in the colour spectrum between yellow and those deep colours in your autumn wedding bouquet. So if you decide on orange colours, they have a range from rust to peachy hues which will give you enough choice to visually connect the deep colours with the more vibrant yellows. Some orange flowers to bear in mind include: tiger lilies, roses, calla lilies, orchids and daisies.
Tying Your Autumn Wedding Bouquet Together With The Fillers
Crucial to an arrangement holding together are the fillers, without the proper fillers the overall effect can be disastrous. Obviously the fillers used in your autumn wedding bouquet are going to be completely different from those you would use in the summer. To be creative try and intertwine leaves and red berries to create a garland which you can use in your autumn wedding bouquet. All sorts of objects that are used in Christmas decoration, such as copper beach branches, painted pine cones and twigs can also help to consolidate your autumn wedding bouquet and increase its dramatic effect.
Autumn should inspire you to produce a solid and classical look, with depth to impress anyone with both its subtlety and splendour, and not forgetting a touch of whimsy, when putting together an autumn wedding bouquet.
